Jordan Sabata
Coming from a family of artists and craftsmen, I found myself creating and making things with my hands. I was given an opportunity as an apprentice in horology working in the same company as my father, a master goldsmith of thirty years. It was there I learned my love for the artistry of the craft and centuries old techniques still used today.
I felt a sense of passion and began to learn as much as possible, spending ten years learning and honing my skills. Over the next five years, I worked in the oldest operating jewelry store in Kansas City, Missouri, specializing in hand engraving and jewelry restoration before returning to Colorado. I worked in Boulder with a long time inspiration and artists in the industry, before deciding to purchase a home and work on building my own creations and jewelry without restraints.
I have always been intrigued and inspired by the world around us. Art is everything and everywhere! It is in us, mother nature, wind, water, fire and stone, and the cosmos where we all come from. These unique textures and patterns, plus the years of experience, techniques, and consistent learning are all implemented in each and every one of my designs.
